BEAUTIRAN<\/b><\/p>\n

Beautiran is a printing-on-fabric factory that was founded during the French Revolution. It <\/span>closed <\/span>during the 19th century. Their magnificent fabrics were called \"de Jouy\" canvases.<\/span><\/p>\n

Passionate about this incredible period of French history and the beauty of its paintings, I was the <\/span>brainthrust<\/span> behind the book\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>\u00ab\u00a0l\u2019incroyable aventure des toiles de Beautiran\u00a0\u00bb\u00a0<\/a>which traces the life of this company.<\/span><\/p>\n

For this occasion I redesigned the canvases by pen in order to use them as designs on tablecloths and other items.<\/span><\/p>\n

I created, in \"Beautiran\" mode, a canvas representing monuments of Paris, as well as dogs, that I named \u00ab\u00a0Parisian dogs\".<\/span><\/p>\n

This motif, printed on paper, is an \u00ab\u00a0all-purpose\u00a0\u00bb decoration that adorns the white frame in which I place the drawing of your dog or cat.<\/span><\/p>\n

Whether on a red, yellow, pink, sky blue or grey background, it retains the classicism of Beautiran's paintings, although this motif was never used by the manufacturer at the time.<\/span><\/p>\n
